FUNCTIONAL KITCHEN SPACE
Situated on the outskirts of Dartmoor, this open plan pink and green shaker kitchen perfectly compliments the home and the surrounding settings.
THE LOOK
By integrating a bullnose profile on their worktop and utilising classic trimmings and columns, the colours were picked to make a statement while also remaining traditional. With modern colour schemes combined with traditional elements and profiles, the kitchen today offers a contemporary interpretation of a traditional room.
THE EXPERIENCE
These customers wanted to renovate the kitchen in the house to match their style and the style of their home. When they first entered the showroom, they had their hearts set on an in-frame kitchen, but they were also drawn to the Purley range's solid wood design and colour schemes.
Due to the challenges posed by the existing plumbing needs, the original design that was presented had to be modified. Custom-sized components had to be created to write over existing pipes and boxwork because of the space's complexity.
After the second design, we also created a seating space to make the most of the kitchen's views of the homeowners' garden and Dartmoor.
UTILITY
The customers came to Richard for help with their kitchen as well as their utility room. The cupboards and furniture needed to be created around the stunning solid wood centrepiece that was the focal point of the space. It was beautifully carved and featured hooks. Around the piece, Richard was able to design a variety of storage spaces, including some open shelves and a stunning sink cabinet with a solid wood surface.
