CONTEMPORARY FRESH NEW KITCHEN
As one of the final parts of their home renovation, Jacky and Richard were looking for a fresh and contemporary new kitchen. Having been recommended to System Six Kitchens by their neighbour, they designed this on-trend dark green skinny shaker style kitchen alongside Carly King.
A BIG RENOVATION
Jacky and Richard had bought their home two years ago, planning to transform it from a bungalow into a two-storey house. They built an extension which is home to the kitchen and utility, getting it designed and fitted was one of the last things they had left to do to complete their home renovation.
THE DESIGN
Upon visiting our showroom, Jacky fell in love with the botanical hues of one of our kitchen displays. They were looking to pair this with a skinny shaker-style door. Jacky and Richard had a look around some of our competitor’s showrooms but couldn’t find anything that came close to the dark green kitchen they’d see at the System Six Kitchens showroom.
THE RESULT
The end result is a stunning Painted Deep Forest and light grey Shaldon kitchen, perfectly complimented by the dark brass handles and gold accessories. The lightly coloured Quartz Carrara worktops provide the perfect contrast between the parquet flooring, dark skinny-shaker style cabinets and smaller light grey cabinets towards the back of the room. This modern two-tone kitchen also features high end appliances throughout and a hidden light grey Linden door that leads to the utility room. The eye is naturally drawn to the freestanding island with it’s overhanging worktop, surrounded by Rattan bar chairs, it’s the perfect space for Jacky and Richard to entertain friends and family.
